What the network is actually like

Cities and the Black Sea coast are fine. Mountain regions, particularly the Rhodopes, have real gaps. Bulgaria adopted the euro on 1 January 2026, so anything quoting lev prices is out of date. It uses Cyrillic script, so offline maps with Latin transliteration are worth setting up in advance.
