Why Talisim

The number is on the plan

Fixed plans are a set number of gigabytes at whatever speed the local network gives you. Day passes say exactly how much you get each day and what the speed drops to after. No "unlimited" in quote marks.

One eSIM, many countries

Crossing borders? Regional plans cover up to 41 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas or Africa, and global plans cover up to 127, all on one eSIM.

Hotspot away

Your laptop, your partner's phone, whatever else, as far as your phone allows. It comes out of the same gigabytes: they're yours, so charging you extra for how you use them would be cheeky.

Three steps, no signup

  1. 1

    Pick a plan

Choose where you're going and how much data you'll realistically use. The plan page spells out what's included.

  2. 2

    Pay and go

Your card goes to Stripe, not to us. No sign-up, and no password to forget in six months.

  3. 3

    Install and go

You get a QR code and a one-tap install link on a private page. Install it at home on wifi, then switch the line on when you land.

Travel eSIM questions

What is a travel eSIM?
A travel eSIM is a SIM you install by scanning a QR code. No plastic card goes into your phone. It gives you a local data plan while you're abroad, so you pay a set price up front instead of roaming rates. It sits alongside the SIM you already have rather than replacing it.
Does Talisim throttle data?
Not on fixed-data plans. Fixed-data plans are a set number of gigabytes at the speed the local network gives you, and then they stop. Day passes state the speed they drop to after the daily allowance. A day pass gives you a fresh allowance every day.
Can I use a Talisim eSIM as a hotspot?
Yes. Hotspot and tethering work, as far as your phone allows, and use the same data. There's no separate cap: tethering a laptop or another phone eats the same gigabytes as anything else does.
Do I need an account to buy an eSIM?
No. It's guest checkout. Your eSIM lands on a private link after payment, we email you the same link, and that's all you need to install it. To find it again later, ask for a sign-in link at the email you ordered with. There's no password.
What happens to data I do not use?
It expires with the plan, and isn't refunded. Buy the size you'll use. A big plan is no bargain if you come home with 12GB left.

Roaming is the real curse.

Carrier roaming often costs more for a weekend abroad than a travel eSIM does for a fortnight. Sort it before you fly.
