About the Balkans eSIM
A Talisim eSIM gets you online across all 7 countries and territories it covers as soon as you land and switch it on. There's no SIM counter, no pocket wifi to hand back, and no roaming bill from your home carrier waiting when you get home.
One eSIM works in all 7 countries below, so you don't need a new plan at every border.
Keep your home SIM in for calls and texts. The eSIM sits beside it and only carries data, so your number still works for WhatsApp and bank codes.
Travelling as a group
Each phone needs its own eSIM. Buy them together and the whole cart gets 10% off 2+ eSIMs, 15% off 4+. Plans can differ: one of you can stream while another just needs maps.
Before you go
Install it on wifi before you fly. You have 180 days from purchase to install it, and unused data expires with the plan.

- Which countries does the Balkans eSIM cover?
- 7 countries and territories on one eSIM, including Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. The full list, with each country's networks, is under "Countries covered" on this page.
- When does the plan start?
- When the eSIM first connects to a network in the Balkans plan, so you can install it at home before you fly. You have 180 days from purchase to install it.
- Can I share the data as a hotspot?
- Hotspot and tethering work, as far as your phone allows, and use the same data.
- Does it come with a phone number?
- Data only: no phone number, calls or texts. WhatsApp, FaceTime, Signal and iMessage work over data.
- Can I top up if I run out?
- Yes, on most plans: top up from your order page, on the same eSIM, without installing anything new.
- Can I get a refund?
- An eSIM that hasn't been installed is refundable in full for 180 days after purchase. Once it's installed on a phone it isn't, because the network has issued it by then, and neither is one left uninstalled past 180 days. Unused data at the end of a plan isn't refunded.
